Bimal K. Bose (Life
Fellow, IEEE) is currently an Emeritus Professor in the Department of
Electrical and Computer Engineering of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville,
TN, USA. He is recognized as world-renowned authority and pioneer in power
electronics for his many contributions that include high frequency link power
conversion, advanced control techniques by microcomputers, invention of transistor
ac power switch for matrix converters, adaptive hysteresis-band current
control, artificial intelligence applications in power electronics.
Dr. Ahmed Farouk Abdel Gawad is an
Egyptian professor of "Computational Fluid Mechanics" in Mechanical
Power Engineering Department, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and
Research, Faculty of Engineering, Zagazig University, Zagazig 44519, Egypt
science 2009. He was a professor in Mechanical Engineering Department
(ABET Accredited), College of Engineering and Islamic Architecture, Umm Al-Qura
University, Makkah, Saudi Arabia (2010-2015).
Mário F. S. Ferreira was born
in Ovar, Portugal. He graduated in Physics from the University of
Porto, Portugal, and he received the Ph.D. degree in Physics in 1992 and the
Aggregation in Physics in 2006, both from the University of Aveiro, Portugal,
where he is now a Professor at the Physics Department. Between 1990 and 1991 he
was at the University of Essex, UK, performing experimental work on external
cavity semiconductor lasers and nonlinear optical fiber amplifiers.His research
interests have been concerned with the modeling and characterization of
multi-section semiconductor lasers for coherent systems, quantum well lasers,
optical fiber amplifiers and lasers, soliton propagation, nanophotonics, optical sensors,
polarization and nonlinear effects in optical fibers. He is actually the
leader of the Optics and Optoelectronics Group of the I3N – Institute
of Nanostructures, Nanomodelling and Nanofabrication.
Professor Vladimir G. Chigrinov is
Professor of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology since 1999. He is
an Expert in Flat Panel Technology in Russia, recognized by the World
Technology Evaluation Centre, 1994, and SID Fellow since 2008. He is an author
of 6 books, 25 reviews and book chapters, about 283 journal papers, more than
634 Conference presentations, and 112 patents and patent applications including
29 US patents in the field of liquid crystals since 1974. He got Excellent
Research Award of HKUST School of Engineering in 2012.
Prof. Vladimir V. Rumyantsev is
Head of Department of Theory of Complex
Systems Dynamic Properties at A.A. Galkin Donetsk Institute for
Physics and Engineering (DonIPE). He is Professor of Theoretical Physics and
Nanotechnology Department at Donetsk National University (DonNU). He received
PhD in Theoretical Physics (1988) from DonNU and Dr. Sci. in Condensed Matter Physics (2007) from
DonIPE.
Dr. Osman Adiguzel graduated
from Department of Physics, Ankara University, Turkey in
1974 and received PhD- degree from Dicle University,
Diyarbakir-Turkey. He studied at Surrey University, Guildford, UK, as a post doctoral
research scientist in 1986-1987, and his studies focused on shape memory
alloys. He worked as research assistant, 1975-80, at Dicle University and shifted to Firat University in 1980. He became professor in 1996,
and he has already been working as professor.
Dr. Ephraim suhir, US citizen (naturalized
in 1985). Goal oriented, highly motivated and creative performer with proven
leadership, administrative and coaching ability, extensive project and
financial management experience, team player attitude, strong analytical and
planning skills, effective communications (both written and verbal) and
presentation skills, as well as excellent organizational, interpersonal, and
negotiation capabilities. Possesses thorough and in-depth understanding of the
state-of-the-art in materials, mechanical, electrical, optical, information,
telecommunication, reliability and related areas of engineering, of new and
emerging technologies, and a clear vision for the most
promising directions in the development of applied science and
engineering.
Dr. Elsayed Ahmed Elnashar,
Full-Professor of textiles Apparel, Kaferelsheikh University, Egypt. Born in 19
/8/1965. Have Ph.D. 2000, Msc.1995, Bsc.1989, Helwan University.
Diploma1985advanced industrial textiles institute. He
holds several academic administrative positions: Dean, Vice Dean, Head of
Department, He has many textiles patents, Member of international scientific
committees. Development of Faculties of Education, commissioned of Supreme
Council of Egyptian Universities. Has design books published in Germany and
Ukraine.
Dr. Houxiao Wang received
his PhD degree from the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in 2013. He
conducted the collaboration work attached with the Institute of High
Performance Computing (IHPC) in Singapore from 2009 to 2011. He got the NTU
Research Scholarship (Singapore) in 2008. He is currently an associate
professor at the School of Mechanical Engineering, Jiangsu University. His
current research interests mainly focus on advanced laser drilling/machining,
processing and manufacturing assisted by water-based ultrasonic vibrations
and/or magnetic field, materials processing, and focused ion beam (FIB)
nanofabrication and nanometrology for optical applications
Dr. Roberto Oscar Aquilano has
a PhD in Astronomy from the Faculty of Astronomical and Geophysical Sciences at
Universidad Nacional de La Plata. Currently, he is a researcher at the National
Scientific and Technical Research Board , Head of Initiatives of High
Technological and Social Impact, of the Ministry of Science, Technology and
Productive Innovation of the Santa Fe Province.
Tariq Tashtoush is
an Assistant Professor of Engineering in Texas A&M International University
(TAMIU), Laredo, TX. He got his PhD and MS degrees in Systems and Industrial
Engineering from State University of New York at Binghamton on 2013 and 2009,
respectively and his BS in Electromechanical (Mechatronics) Engineering from
Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST), Irbid, Jordan in 2005.
Currently, he is the faculty advisor and team leader of TAMIU Robotics and
Intelligent Systems team and Students Engineering Council. In addition, he is
the West Officer for the Corpus Christi Section of IEEE.
Dr. Eugene StephaneMananga is
an Assistant Professor of Nuclear Medicine at the City University of New York,
and Adjunct Professor of Physics at New York University. He completed his Ph.D
in Physics from the City University of New York, USA and hold 6 additional graduate
degrees and training from various institutions including City College of New
York, Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital.
Professor Zhaosen Liu received
his Ph.D degree in solid state physics from TU-Dresden in 1999. In recent
years, he has been working on developing two quantum computational methods,
namely theself-consistent approachand quantum Monte Carlo method, to
investigate the spin configurations of magnetic stems numerically. The two
methods have been successfully applied
to nanosystems where various interactions are involved.
